PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE OF THE “GLAZDOOR” DATABASE FOR REGISTERED JOB SEEKERS
1.1 UAB „Glazdoor“, company code 307549912, registered office at Austėjos g. 22, Vilnius, 08401, Lithuania. Email: info@cvlink.online.
1.2 Database – the Glazdoor database available on the website or accessible through it, containing job offers, job-seeking advertisements, CVs, and other employment-related information.
1.3 User – an individual who has agreed to these Terms, registered in the Database, and created a user account.
1.4 Terms – these Glazdoor database Terms and Privacy Policy for registered job seekers.
1.5 Data Recipient – a legal or natural person using the Database to search or select employees for their own or their clients’ purposes, or to access other Glazdoor employer services, to whom Glazdoor transfers User data or allows access according to these Terms.
1.6 Parties – Glazdoor and the User.
1.7 Services – all services provided by Glazdoor for job seekers, described on the website section “For Job Seekers.” Mediation services (including uploading User CVs, searching and receiving job offers by email, applying for jobs, etc.) are free. Additional services (consultations, tests, advertising, etc.) are paid. Payment amounts and terms are specified in each Service description.
1.8 Personal Data – User Data, Login Data, Technical Data, Communication Data, and Cookie Data considered personal data under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
1.9 User Data – all data related to the User, entered into the Database, including registration forms, CV form data, and other data managed by Glazdoor. Examples: date of birth, gender, native language, employment status, education, phone number, email, country of residence, etc.
1.10 Login Data – data provided by the User for account access, including username and password chosen during registration or later updated. Also includes data obtained via third-party services (LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, etc.), such as profile photo, age range, gender, email, and publicly available profile information.
1.11 Technical Data – automatically collected data from the User’s device accessing the website, including IP address, ISP, referring URL, date/time, browser type and version, OS, data transfer amount, status, location, etc.
1.12 Communication Data – information provided by the User when communicating with Glazdoor electronically (website, email), including name, email, message content, etc.
1.13 Cookie Data – Glazdoor uses cookies that may collect User personal data.
1.14 Website – the online platform at www.glazdoor.lt designed to provide mediation services between job seekers and employers and other related Services.
2.1 Registered Users who agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms gain access to the Database using their Login Data to use the Services. Access to paid Services is granted after payment according to Glazdoor terms.
2.2 Users must keep Login Data confidential and are responsible for all activities using their Login Data.
2.3 Users must promptly change their Login Data if they forget it or suspect unauthorized access, or notify Glazdoor by email or phone.
2.4 Users must provide accurate and truthful data in the Database. Users are liable for losses caused by false or misleading information.
2.5 All rights to the Database and Website belong to Glazdoor. Users may only use Database data for legitimate job applications and contacting employers. Copying, extracting, or misusing Database data is prohibited. Users may not disrupt the Database or upload illegal content.
2.6 Users can update their data, control its visibility to Data Recipients, and request CV blocking via email info@glazdoor.lt. Contact information is visible only to paying Data Recipients.
2.7 To delete an account, Users must send a request to info@glazdoor.lt. Glazdoor will delete the account within seven days, considering any restrictions in section 4.11.
2.8 When an employer downloads a candidate’s CV, the employer becomes an independent data controller and is responsible for the further processing of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
3.1 Glazdoor provides access to Services according to these Terms and website rules.
3.2 Glazdoor may remove incorrect, illegal, or inappropriate User data.
3.3 Glazdoor is not responsible for damages resulting from job search, application processes, or agreements with employers. Users negotiate and sign contracts independently.
3.4 Glazdoor does not guarantee employment.
3.5 Glazdoor is not responsible for unauthorized use of User data by Data Recipients.
3.6 Glazdoor may change the Website, Database, Services, and menu structure without prior notice.
4.1 Glazdoor is the controller of User personal data processed for Services.
4.2 Glazdoor processes User Data, Login Data, Communication Data, Technical Data, and Cookie Data.
4.3 Legal grounds for processing depend on purpose and circumstances: legal obligation, Terms execution, legitimate interest, or User consent.
4.4 Data processing purposes include:
- Ensuring security and preventing fraud
- Improving Website and Services
- Facilitating communication
- Profiling for better matching with Data Recipients
- Informing Users about Services, opportunities, and relevant news
4.5 Data retention: personal data is stored only as long as reasonably necessary to achieve these purposes unless legally required otherwise.
4.6 Data may be shared with Data Recipients based on User consent or legal obligation.
4.7 Users have the rights under GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and data portability.
5.1 Glazdoor may suspend Services if Users violate Terms and fail to correct violations within 10 business days.
5.2 Services are provided “as is”; Glazdoor does not guarantee availability, suitability, or error-free operation.
5.3 Users may stop using Services at any time; paid fees are non-refundable.
5.4 Users are responsible for losses caused by violations of these Terms.
5.5 Glazdoor is not liable for data accuracy or losses resulting from Database use.
6.1 Glazdoor may amend Terms, publishing new Terms at least 5 days before changes take effect.
6.2 User notifications must be sent to info@cvlink.online or by phone +370 67042700.
6.3 Disputes are resolved under Europ union law.
